No matter what you think of KimK, what you can't take away from her is her fashion sense. She knows how to put her outfit together looking every inch a diva.
Do not lie. How many times have you said this each time you come to my blog hoping to see a new post? Guilty as charged. You see, life happened. Infact, a lot has happened. Since the last time I put up a post, I have relocated, got married, got a new job, and lost a child. Miscarrying a pregnancy is as surreal as losing a child. I sincerely apologize for my absence and well, I have cried and laughed, and my faith was shaken, but God is ever faithful. My favourite song remains: it is well. It became my favourite phrase. Don't let me bore you with all the stories. Perhaps I will make a post on dealing with pain. :) Yes? I have decided to return to writing. I am typing and grinning because I have missed this. God, give me the grace to be consistent. I have struggled with creating a niche for myself, but I'd rather share myself with the world. My story, my views on issues and, of course, no copy & paste. Your Mother carried you inside of her womb for nine whole months, she felt sick for months with nausea, then she watched her feet swell and her skin stretch and tear. She struggled to climb stairs, she got breathless quickly and even a simple task like putting her shoes on was a huge struggle for her. She suffered many sleepless nights while you kicked and squirmed inside of her and while you demanded that she scoffed junk at 3am, she then went through EXCRUCIATING PAIN to bring you into this world. She became your nurse, your chef, your maid, your chauffeur, your biggest fan, your teacher, your agony aunt and your best friend. She's struggled for you, cried over you, fought for you, put herself second for you, hoped the best for you and has driven herself insane with worry for you but never has she asked for anything in return because she loves you and did it all on love alone! Most of us take our Mums for granted but there are people who have lost or have never even seen thei...
I am passionate about helping people with disabilities many a times will you see me helping a blind man crossing the road. Back in my school, i met a charming flirty man who was a student in the department of .... not telling! what drew me to him was his positivity towards life. He was blind but his zealousness to study was ahead of those of us who have eyes. He couldn't see but could distinguish you from your voice. Didn't i love when i hold his hands on the staircase? But people on a serious note, people with disabilities are people like you and i in some cases like Lizzy's, they became disabled by circumstances. Reach out to them, hold their hands, help them even when they throw your help back in your face, a little hello, a big smile, a helping hand, a chat, might not mean much to you but trust me it will forever remain printed in their heart. Disabled, Still I Stand – Lizzy’s Story of Hope By Elizabeth Oke Prior to the ...
